Ashley King

A love for unusual colour combinations, creating texture and intricate detail led me to textile design, specialising in embroidery. I continually show a high level of commitment and complete tasks in an organised manor whilst achieving a high standard. I pride myself on my flexibility and adaptability in and out of the work place. A keen interest in couture high end fashion has led me to attend various pattern cutting courses which i intend on building on.

Hobbies and interest

A love of all art and design keeps me busy by attending workshops to regularly update my skills and visiting various exhibitions for further inspiration. I have recently embarked on a barn conversion project increasing my interests in architectural and interior design.  I have taken on the role of textile mentor for a Duke of Edinburgh student who I am thrilled to share my increasing knowledge and passion with.  An ongoing project is to further develop my IT skills, specifically Adobe software.
